Cesar

Cesar (he/him) is a recent graduate from UCSB with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is
originally from Newark, California, but has considered the Santa Barbara area as a second
home since arriving. Throughout his time on campus, he was a founding member of Gaucho
Racing, UCSB’s Formula SAE Electric team; and served the Associated Students, UCSB’s
student government, in several roles. He also has worked in various campus departments
including Residential & Community Living and the library’s new Makerspace. In his free time, he
enjoys reading, playing Spikeball, watching motorsports, and drinking assorted caffeinated
beverages. Cesar is excited and honored to welcome a new class of engineering students to
UCSB!
