Troubleshooting Guide

Below are some tips and suggestions if you are having trouble accessing your account, completing the required online modules, or need technical assistance.

Module Instructions:

  1. Click on the link for AlcoholEdu/Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion found on the UCSB Mandatory Education page.
  2. Accept the course page as a trusted site if prompted.
  3. Log in with your UCSBnetID and password.
  4. You will be redirected to the EverFi page where you will then fill out your information and click "Create My Account".
  5. You may log in and out of the module at the end of each section. Section ends are marked with a "Next" button. Do NOT log out until you click the "Next" button or you will have to repeat the section you just completed.
  6. Since some modules are approximately two hours in length, we recommend taking them in multiple sittings.
  7. You must earn a score of 75% or higher on the exam to pass and receive credit for the module.

Technical Requirements:

  1. These online programs work best with the latest versions of Google Chrome as the internet browser. Other browsers may work, but not as well. Get instructions on how to download Google Chrome.
  2. It is best to complete the modules on a desktop or laptop computer. Only the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program is supported on a mobile device. AlcoholEdu and the Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates do not support mobile devices such as a cell phone or tablet.
  3. Get more detailed information about the minimum system requirements.
