Amna

Amna (she/her) is a third-year Psych and Brain Sciences major at UCSB. She’s from Ridgecrest, CA, and has really enjoyed being part of the UCSB community. On campus, she’s involved in a lot, she’s the Co-President of the Pakistani Student Association (PSA), an on-campus senator, and also works as an AS Cashier. Through these roles, Amna has been able to meet new people, help plan events, and make sure student voices are heard. Amna cares a lot about making sure students feel included and supported, especially those who are first-gen, BIPOC, or come from underrepresented backgrounds. She loves being part of spaces where students can connect and feel at home. When she’s not in class, working, or at meetings, Amna likes to watch movies, hang out with friends, go to the beach, and play video games. She’s really excited to meet new students and is always happy to help or answer questions. Her goal is to help others feel welcomed and find their place at UCSB, just like she did.
