Ashton

Ashton (she/her) is a second year majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, she realized UCSB was the school of her dreams after meeting her roommate at Orientation, walking along the beach talking, and instantly knowing that they’d be lifelong best friends. If she isn’t watching Glee, you can find her downtown, hunting for unique thrift finds or adding to her ever growing jewelry collection. During her first year, she played many roles in Rocky Horror Picture Show– the Criminologist in the first quarter, Janet in the second, and helping behind the scenes in the third quarter. She also served on San Miguel’s Hall Council as the residence hall’s Queer Engagement Chair, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all. She is beyond excited to be a part of the Orientation team this year and can’t wait to share all of the reasons why she loves UCSB, while helping others get excited to call it home too.
