Emma

Emma (she/her/hers) is a third year student majoring in History. Originally from Santa Clarita,
California, she chose UCSB for the research opportunities it offers as an R1 institution and its
breathtaking campus. While at UCSB, Emma became involved in her community through
becoming a board member of two campus clubs, playing intramural basketball, volunteering,
and participating in several research projects. When she is not studying or chatting with friends,
she can be found walking along the beach while listening to music or exploring downtown Santa
Barbara. Emma is having a wonderful time at UCSB and looks forward to welcoming all
incoming students to campus as an Orientation Staff member!
