Finn

Finn (he/him) is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying communication with a minor in
applied psychology. Born just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland, he moved to California as a child
and transferred to UCSB from Santa Rosa Junior College, his hometown community college, in
2025. While at UCSB, Finn has involved himself on campus through the UCSB jazz program,
assisting in graduate research, writing for the Daily Nexus newspaper, and doing photography for
KCSB, UCSB’s very own radio station. Outside of school, he enjoys working out, hiking,
participating in lively debates with his friends, and playing in Junkyard, one of the several house
bands around Isla Vista. A camp counselor by trade, Finn loves to work outside and is always
ready to step into a leadership role, and he is stoked to meet the incoming class of UCSB
students this summer!
