Willa

Willa (she/her/hers) is a second year Global Studies and Chinese double major. She is originally from Washington, DC, and is very happy to live in sunny California now! At UCSB, she fills her time with both academics and sports, as she is a part of the UCSB Honors Program and is one of the captains of the UCSB Ultimate Frisbee B-Team. When she’s not in class or at practice, she loves getting outside to the beautiful mountains and beaches in the Santa Barbara area. In addition to all of these fun activities here in California, in the fall, she will be studying abroad in Taiwan with the UCEAP program, expanding her global studies background and challenging her language skills in an immersive environment. Even though it was a large change, coming all the way to UCSB was one of the best opportunities of her life, and she is extremely excited to meet all the incoming students at this summer’s Orientation!
