Freshman Student Overnight Options
Orientation is a two-day program and students must attend both days.
There are two overnight options from which students can choose - overnight in a campus residence hall (Manzanita Village) or arranging their own overnight place to stay. Both options include meals in a campus dining commons. Most students choose to stay overnight in the on-campus residence hall.
See fees and billing for information on fees, payment, and financial assistance.
Program With Accommodations (Manzanita Village residence hall, students only)
Includes one overnight on campus, the two-day Orientation program, and four meals on campus. Overnight stay will be provided in Manzanita Village. Student roommate requests cannot be honored. Sheets, blankets, towels, and pillow are provided.
Program Only
Includes the two-day Orientation program and four meals on campus. This option is for students who make their own overnight arrangements due to preference or if space is not available in the Program With Accommodations. Local hotels and lodging options are listed on this website.
Notes About the Overnight
Students
On-campus residence hall accommodations are for freshman students only. Residence hall space for our program is limited. The overnight is between the two full days of the session (Monday night or Thursday night). Orientation does not provide accommodations for any additional nights, including the night before or after your session. If you need additional overnight accommodations, please visit here. Student roommate requests cannot be honored.
Parents
Parents who are attending the Parent Orientation program must make their own overnight arrangements separately. See Parent Program Info on this website for important details on the parent program and overnight options which include the university-owned San Joaquin Villages Apartments.
