Program Overview for Transfer Sessions
- 8:00-9:15am - Check-In at Campbell Hall +
- 9:15-9:45am - Welcome Address +
- 10:00am-12:00pm - Breakout Sessions + Choose from sessions that will cover tips for putting together your fall quarter schedule, advice from current transfer students, planning for your professional future with Career Services, and campus tours.
- 12:15-1:30pm - Resource Fair + Lunch is the responsibility of students and their guests. Dining options are available in the University Center and The Arbor.
- 1:30-3:30pm - Major Department Meetings - meet with an advisor in your major (this meeting is for students only)
- 1:30-2:30pm - Your Transfer Student's First Year (for parents and family members)
- 2:30-4:00pm - Transfer Student Center Open House & Drop-In Advising
- 4:00-5:00pm - EOP Meeting +
+ Activities where students and family members are together.
Non-Traditional Students
Non-traditional students are considered to be those who are over 24 years old, and/or are married, and/or have children. The Resource Fair will provide an introduction to the many campus resources available to support you during your years at UCSB.
