Maya

Maya (she/her/hers) is a third year pursuing a Communication major and Professional Writing (Journalism) minor. She’s from San Jose, CA, and loves the second home she’s found at UCSB. Aside from being involved in Fraternity and Sorority Life, Maya enjoys writing for The Bottom Line Newspaper and occasionally nannying for local families. When she’s not weightlifting at the Recreation Center, you can find her at the beach with friends. Maya is super excited to guide the incoming students through their first steps as UCSB students!
