Sophia

Sophia (She/Her) is an incoming second-year pursuing a Communications major and a
Japanese minor. She is from Palos Verdes Estates, California and chose UCSB for the location
and the amazing programs it offers. On campus, she is involved with the Japanese Language
Cafe. In her free time, Sophia often enjoys walking along the beach, reading, and watching the
sunset with friends. Sophia is thrilled to meet the incoming students and help welcome them to
UCSB!
